Starburst Quilted Throw Pillows

The great curse of a quilter is that no matter how hard you try, you always have scraps left over. Mounds and mounds of scraps.

So after finishing the custom Ohio quilt I recently made, I thought I'd try to used up some of the scraps to make two matching quilted throw pillow covers as a little bonus surprise.

I like how they turned out, and I'm going to be posting a tutorial on Friday for how to make your own quilted throw pillow with a zippered back [gasp!]. It isn't very hard at all, and it's a great project to try if you are interested in quilting but you find doing a big quilt a little intimidating.

Stay tuned!
