Liberated Log Cabin Quilt - Take 2

This is another version [previous one here] of the Liberated Log Cabin Quilt class I will be teaching at Sew LA. It starts this Sunday, you can sign up here!

This one is for a dear friend I've had since fifth grade. She is going to be having her first baby [a boy!] any day now. She requested these colors along with any bird/nature fabric.

All the baby's bedding is going to be Lotta Jansdotter, so I used a big beautiful Lotta print on the back.

I love the binding fabric - it's a Tula Pink print called Vapor. The little lightning bolts are so cute!

  2. Oh my gosh! This is awesome! I am considering having a go at my first quilt and this looks like just what I'd like to make - imperfectly perfect, if I may say so. What I a pity I can't join your class!
