Having lived in LA for ten years, I was ready for a change. So I decided on Nashville. It's a really great city with a good vibe and lots of stuff to do. And it's totally different than LA!
So this is the main reason that I haven't been posting much here in the last few weeks. Because guess what, moving across the country is hard! I'd only ever done it when I came to college, which involved a few suitcases. But now I'm a grownup and I have things. And a cat.
After four long days of driving with a U-haul and poor mister Hootie in a dog crate, I've finally made it.

DeleteYay! There are so many awesome bloggers in Nashville. I lived in Memphis for 7 years and visited Nashville often. I am now in Knoxville until I find a more permanent job. Good luck!

DeleteI "escaped from LA" after ten years too - not sure what your reasons were, but for me I felt like my soul was dying living there! Nashville is a wonderful town, hope you enjoy settling in and exploring your new world.

DeleteWelcome to the south! I live about 2 1/2 hours south of Nashville in Florence, AL. Nashville is a great town. My husband and I make it up there quite a bit.
