Deer & Doe Plantain Tee

Deer & Doe Plaintain Tee

Last night, I went out.

About an hour before I went out, I decided to cut out another Deer & Doe Plantain Tee. And then I got excited and thought that I really, really wanted to wear it out that night. Because I guess I find self-imposed arbitrary deadlines thrilling.

I managed to get everything done except the bottom hem. And guess what? I wore that hemless Plaintain. Scandalous, I know.

The fabric is this great jersey [back in stock here] from Wanderlust Fabrics. I love Wanderlust! They have some really adorable apparel fabrics. I ordered three and all of them were great quality.

I've made several Plantains [unblogged], and a Plantain dress [blogged here]. I really do love the pattern, it comes together so fast. I nipped in the side seams so it's more of a fitted t-shirt. I also cut the sleeves 1" longer than the short sleeve cutting line on the pattern, just cuz.

I'm wearing it with my Colette Zinnia skirt, originally blogged here.

This probably won't be the last Plantain you see here. Sorry, not sorry!

We should do a Plantain day and debut new shirts at the same time :)
