Shamrock Hairband

Erin go braugh!

What does that even mean? I have no idea. Can anyone tell me?

This shamrock headband is a super cute and easy craft for St. Patrick's Day [which, in case you aren't aware of such things, is on Saturday]. This isn't really a tutorial per se, more of a tutorial roundup. Or no, a tutorial pairing.

I saw this great felt shamrock tutorial the other day on Paper and Ink, so I made two of them, one in the size she recommends and one slightly smaller.

Then I made one of my Prim Bow Hairband patterns [available in my etsy shop and as instant download here] out of undyed cotton with the option for the plain hairband. Then I just hand sewed the two shamrocks on!

You could also make the bow version and stick a smaller shamrock in the middle of it. I kind of wish I had thought of that before I made this one. Oh well.

If you don't want to make your own hairband you could just sew a few shamrocks onto one you already have. It'll take fifteen minutes tops!

Have a happy weekend!
